Rediscover a healthy and joyful relationship with food by eating mindfully.
Mindfulness-Based Eating Awareness Training (MB-EAT), developed by Jean Kristeller, addresses mindless eating, stress-related eating, disordered eating patterns, and obesity through the application of mindfulness meditation. The MB-EAT program teaches a new way to relate to food based on cutting-edge research in nutritional and behavioural science. The program does not involve dieting, but instead uses mindfulness meditation, eating exercises, and self-reflection to help you develop a more balanced, and positive relationship to eating.
In this eight-week course, you will:
- Reconnect with the body’s natural cues of fullness, hunger and satiety
- Understand the roots of emotional and stress-driven eating patterns
- Develop new skills for responding to unconscious eating triggers and cravings
