Ontario’s only MBCT practicum accredited by The College of Family Physicians of Canada.
This is the fourth module of our MBCT Facilitation Certificate Program. 

This practicum will immerse participants in the 8-week MBCT program as participants, facilitators and observers. Trainees will take on a variety of roles including teaching, providing and receiving feedback and developing skills of inquiry. Readings and home practice will be an essential part of the program. Relevant background will be provided in the areas of mindfulness, clinical research and CBT.

Who should attend
This program is intended for clinicians interested in deepening their understanding of MBCT and developing some foundational skills to facilitate MBCT.

This program is best suited for clinicians who have experience with meditative practices and who have either attended an 8-week MBSR/MBCT group.  It is also recommended for those who have taken the 5 Day MBCT for Preventing Depressive Relapse retreat.  Please contact us before registering if you have yet to participate in an MBSR/MBCT program.

Accreditation
This practicum meets the accreditation criteria of The College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been accredited for up to 25 Mainpro-C credits.
It has also been approved for 2 Lifestyle and 8 General Continuing Education credits by the BDDT-N for naturopathic doctors.

10-Session Practicum: Monday evenings: January 11, January 25, February 1, February 8, February 22, February 29, March 7, March 14, March 21, April 4, 2016| 5:30pm - 9pm
